Dresses and anything else that was rented out will be returned in the same condition as it was rented out in. Any type of sewing, cleaning, or other maintenance that is required after your rental will be taken out of the deposit. Some examples of these situations could include but are not limited to rips, loose or missing beading, stains or dirt marks, makeup that has gotten on either the inside or outside of the dress among others not listed. All tags, straps, and hanging ribbons are to remain attached at all times with the exception of our own business card tag which can be removed while the dress is being worn. Part or all of the deposit will be kept for any sort of these damages. We reserve the right to keep any part or all of the deposit for any reason. A $250 replacement fee will be applied in addition to the rental price and deposit already paid if the dress is not returned or returned damaged beyond repair. This is the base fee unless stated otherwise and a condition beyond repairable will be made by Dresses Ever After and their dress maintenance staff.

Do not put any sort of pinholes in the dress whether it is from a safety pin, name tag, flowers, or any other source. The dress will not be altered in any sort of way which may include but are not limited to hemming, shortening, lengthening, resizing, or being taken in. Undergarments must be worn at all times while wearing the dress. By not following this contract, you understand that the entire deposit will be kept along with the possibility of additional fees and bills.

The dress must be kept in the garment bag at all times when it is not being worn. Please also keep the bag zipped. Dress(es) and the bag must be stored in a smoke and stink-free area at all times. There will be an extra fee applied if the dress and/or garment bag come back smelling of smoke or other foul odors. This fee can be up to $200. If professional cleaning can not get rid of the odors, a replacement fee will be billed and paid as soon as possible. If the garment bag is returned damaged or missing, a $30 replacement fee will be deducted from the dress deposit.
Any cancelation before 4 weeks of the event date will result in the forfeit of the deposit however, the rental price may still be refunded. If a reservation is canceled within 4 weeks or less of the event date, the entire amount of both the rental price and deposit will be kept. The only exception is if you are able to find someone who will take your place in renting the dress for the same event date. In this situation, you will be refunded for your rental price and half of the deposit paid and the other party will pay for the rental and the deposit fees for the reservation. The other party must agree and pay before any funds will be given back to the original name on the reservation. Finding a switch for your dress reservation no matter how far away from the event date will result in forfeiting half of your deposit since there is additional work required from our end.

Dress(es) will be picked up and dropped off on the dates listed on the contract unless discussed and approved by Dresses Ever After. If a pick-up or return date needs to be changed, it must be brought up and discussed with Hannah Davis as soon as possible and dates will not be changed within four (4) weeks of the event and/or dates unless for extremely unusual circumstances approved by Dresses Ever After. *Finding a different dress to wear to your event is not an extremely unusual circumstance
When purchasing a dress or dresses from our shop online or in-store, you agree to purchase the dress as is in the current condition it is in. If the dress you would like to purchase has been rented out for future dates, the purchase may not go through until the dress has been returned from its rental. If you do not want to wait until the final rental(s) are done, we may cancel your purchase or switch it to a different dress.
